Google Glass comes to the UK costing £1,000

Google Glass is blowing up fast: From a close guarded Google X Labs prototype to a device that can be bought by anyone in the US. The Search Giant is slowly but surely vanquishing its hold over Glass.

It held a one-day sale for anyone in the US to buy one, then it opened Glass up to all users in the US, then Glass with custom, more fashionable frames was revealed and now it is coming to the UK, carrying a hefty price tag of £1,000, equivalent to $1700, a bit higher than the $1500 that Glass sells for in the US.

lt can be purchased by anyone in the UK who is over 18 years old from google.co.uk/glass.

The news comes just weeks before Google I/O, where the search giant is rumored to release Glass (The current one is a prototype version) and that too at a much lower price.
