Android One is basically a reference platform for OEMs to develop on. These devices cost very less and get automatic OTA Guaranteed updates.

Android One smartphones run stock Android, with guaranteed OEM updates.
One of the examples of an Android One device is a device from Micromax, a popular manufacturer from India. It has a 4.5 inch screen, Dual-SIM Support, FM Radio, SD Card and more. It will be available for less than $100.
Android One will be launching around the world, but for now, it is only for India, with three OEMs: Micromax and Spice.
