Even as “Selfies” become even more popular and as the word gets added to the Oxford English Dictionary, the front-cameras of smartphones, used to capture our precious selfies are still mostly inferior and capture lacklustre photos.
Sony wants to change that with the Xperia C3, a phone which is essentially made for taking selfies. The front-camera is of 5MP Resolution, has a Wide-Angle Lens, a mode to Capture your Picture when you smile and finally a LED Flash. Having a front-facing Flash is a unique characteristic and this means no more dark selfies.
As for the other specs, there is really nothing to boast about. A Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP Back Camera and Android Kitkat.
It has a 5.5 inch Inch HD (1280*720 screen) display. Powering it all is a 2500mAH Battery.
It is launching in White, Mint and Black Colors and will be available in China from August, with the rest of us getting it soon afterwards.
