Amazon Kindle Unlimited Books

Amazon announces Kindle Unlimited, a service that offers Unlimited Books for $9.99/Month

Amazon has announced Kindle Unlimited, a service offering you unlimited books for just $9.99 per month. It is available for all platforms, including the KIndle Ereader (Of course), and the Apps for iOS, Android, Mac OSX and Windows.

With Amazon Kindle Unlimited, you will be able to keep a Book for as long as you like, but you will not be allowed to keep more than 10 books at any given time.

The entire Amazon Store is not available yet. You currently can get access to over 600,000 Books through the service. Biggies such as the Harry Potter series, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Hunger Games, and more are available.

Not only books, but you also get access to over 2000 of Audible’s Audiobooks.

We had seen rumors about Amazon Kindle Unlimited popping up earlier this month.

Music was the first to get hit by the subscription-unlimited Format and now it seems Books too are joining in. While music subscription services such as Spotify are enjoying success, it remains to be seen whether Amazon will be able to replicate that with Books.

If you are a Bookworm, this will be great for satiating your thirst for books. On the other hand, if you are not a Bookworm, then this would be a great time to start Reading.

Oh, and if you want to try it out, Amazon has a 30-Day Free Trial for Kindle Unlimited. It is limited to America, for now. And if you are wondering, no, there are no perks for being a Prime Member here.
