Barnes & Noble and Microsoft part ways

Barns & Nobles is a sinking ship and everyone knows it. After outsourcing its Tablet business to Samsung, Barnes & Nobles stuck to operating its physical Stores and making its Nook devices.

Evidently even Microsoft has seen how far and how quick Barnes & Noble has fallen, which is why it is selling back its 17.6%  ($300 Million) Stake in the Company’s Nook eReaders back to Barnes & Noble.

The exact reason to Microsoft selling its shares is not known, but is probably because Barnes & Noble is no longer a lucrative investment.

What do you think of Barnes & Noble and Microsoft parting ways?
