When you look at the Smartphone market, you see giants like Apple and Samsung dominating, but when it comes to the innards of these smartphones, Qualcomm dominates with its Snapdragon line of SoCs.
But after losing support from industry giant Samsung in 2015 (Though the next Samsung phone is rumored to use Qualcomm SoCs), and the smartphone market itself maturing, Qualcomm has found it upon itself to capitalize upon a new industry: Drones.
And it has given a sneak-peek into the Snapdragon Flight platform, which will be showcased at CES 2016. The Snapdragon Flight platform is based on the Snapdragon 801 SoC, and its standout feature lies in its autonomous capabilities. Push a button and your drone will return to its launch-pad. The platform supports 4K video capture and offers various features for drones, such as an optical flow camera, obstacle avoidance and many more features that will be revealed at CES,
