iOS 9.3 (and below) users have been complainting that their devices crash whenever they tap on a link. The problem lied in the new Universal Links added to iOS, which enabled apps to open links without leaving the apps themselves. But, it led to devices crashing when developers abused this feature, since Apple didn’t put an upper limit on the Universal links.
But now, Apple has released the 9.3.1 update which is a quick fix update to patch this bug.
It is a small update at just 35 MB and should fix the crashing issues you are facing (if any).
