In the early days of video-games, there were several consoles on the market, and choosing one was not easy. Consoles seemed to come every day, and many died quickly, so getting your money’s worth was difficult.

Nintendo announces new 3DS Variants

The 3DS didn’t do well initially, but after a slew of great game launches and a huge Price Cut, it finally caught on, and absolutely slaughtered the sales of the Playstation Vita.

After the 3DS, the 3DS XL was launched, which was essentially an enlarged version of the 3DS, as it offered no changes except that off a bigger screen and a bulkier form factor.

Nintendo today has announced two new Variants of the 3DS, which actually offer some improvements to the 3-Year Old Console.
